Karen Cimis

Karen Cimis is the Co-Founder of Guiding Angels of NH LLC, and has been a registered nurse for over 35 years. She resides in Bow, NH with her son Kyle, and their playful Golden Retriever, Buddie. Karen was the primary caregiver to her husband Bob, who passed from Early Onset Alzheimers at the age of 56 and knows firsthand how difficult and lonely caring for a loved one with Dementia can be. She has also experienced watching the struggles endured by her son and the lack of support for children that have a parent suffering with dementia. In honor and memory of her husband, Karen has made it her passion to help others and believes that no caregiver, family member or person suffering with Dementia should ever feel alone on this life changing journey. As a Registered Nurse and Certified Dementia Practitioner, Karen is committed to guiding caregivers and their loved ones to the support and resources needed to care for their loved ones and themselves.
